While a free app can reasonably be expected to advertise in-app or ask the user to provide a review to further the product's reputation on the app store, an app costing $8 should not, unless it is made abundantly clear upfront and prior to purchase that this is what you'll be required to do. Intrusive requests for a paid app breaches the trust of the consumer and severely diminishes the user experience. This is why I'm giving 2 stars, not five. Developers have generally dismissed this feedback. : A large body of complaints center around the app opening up a notification box asking the user to rate the app. Good - copmlaints about being pestered to review the product are validĭoes what I wanted, and well - an pomodoro app that is customsiable and tracks time spent on tasks. Again new features like this must be kept low footprint but beefing up task mangemnet elegantly would be really powerful for users. I use an spreadsheet table and charting to co-manage this with BFP because the functions to measure workflow durations and how I am progressing through them just aren't there in BFP. It is very powerful to be able to not only measure my duration and frequency of pomodoro's but also within a context I can manage my own productivity. Say 5-10 mins max per task (incuding sub tasks). Nothing too bulky either- if it takes too long to configure and set up it would be a bit of a barrier to bothering. Not looking for a Gannt chart program within BFP as such (though that would certainly be nice)- moreover I simply twould love the ability to build flows that have graphs I can use to manitor my time and productivity mangement. Such as being able to have a GUi that lets me view and set up multiple semester/ work periods for multple units/ projects and place within each sub-tasks that relate to a parent task/ unit/ subject/ project task/ stage (think Gantt chart logic). I also like the editing functions as they are but would prefer more flexibility and power. ** Sync with iOS devices requires Be Focused Pro for iOS, sold separately.Īs long time customer I like tthat i can set up labels/ categoris and set my pomodoro durations and breaks. * Integration with Focus Matrix requires the Pro version of Focus Matrix, sold separately. Integration with Focus Matrix to manage tasks using Eisenhower's urgent/important principle* Ability to adjust alarm and chronometer volumes Customizable frequency of the chronometer sound

Global hotkeys to start or stop the timer from any app Ability to paste a task list from other apps Customize reports for fast and easy goal tracking Estimate the number of intervals required to complete a task and track the estimation error Block distracting apps and websites during work intervals

Use filters by tags and due dates to keep focussed on the most important tasks Specify different timer settings for different tasks Number of intervals between long breaks.Customize the timer settings to maximize productivity: Use either your iPhone, iPad or Mac – your devices always stay in sync. Create tasks, configure breaks and track your progress throughout the day, week or custom period. It’s a surprisingly effective way to retain motivation and focus. The Be Focused lets you get things done by breaking up individual tasks among discrete intervals, separated by short breaks. Staying on task seems is a real challenge for our screen-bound generation.
